The homeless numbers grow daily in every city across
America, and shows no sign of easing anytime soon. Once someone lands on the
streets it’s very difficult to escape as many ignore you or act as if you do
not exist.

The ages of the homeless vary from teens to senior citizens
and they share with me how good it feels when someone greets them with a hello,
acknowledging they are alive.

Every Sunday you can find me in front of Lamp Village (527
Crocker Street) feeding the homeless at 5:00 p.m. with my friends.

I too like to see all of the people on the streets with different looks. I find myself wanting to know their stories.

Thanks Valynne, it was great. I didn’t finish the entire tour, after about three hours of slowly moving through the North and East buildings I still have two more buildings to go. I am planning to go back this weekend. But it was quite satisfying. Thanks for the compliment on the blog as well. I do understand your feeling the pull to California as well.

I haven’t been to the Getty since all of the renovations took place. Feeling a pull towards CA…and when I get there I am treating myself to a day at this amazing museum. By the way, your blog is looking quite sharp, I must say! Very impressed…

I’ve always admired people who enjoy changing their “look” and dare to do something fun and different, oftentimes on a whim. I think this woman wears it well : ) People-watching on the bus or subway, and especially at the airport has always been something I enjoy.

I just found a typo in there. lol it is now corrected.
I felt really compelled to write this because I have met many women with scars from their relationships with their mothers and I know how deep it runs. I also realize that my rift with my mother was nothing compared to many others.
